Developed countries have no green food authentication, and the so-called green food authenticated in China is not always purely national food, Chen said.

There were more than 80 farm products in Beijing before the National Day, dubbed as purely natural and unpolluted products. These green food authenticated by the Ministry of Agriculture should be accurately called as safety food, because these farm products are not unpolluted, but its pollutes are under certain safety standard, according to Chen.

The domestic green products are actually up to the fundamental safety standard in the world, and not to the high quality standard, Chen added.
